Introducing the new Dentalumix LED Dental Light

Say goodbye to the inconveniences of halogen-based dental lamps

Halogen bulbs burn out quickly, generate intense heat, devour electricity, and cast a yellowish light that alters gum and tooth color. For dentists, these quirks have simply gone with the territory – like toothaches, crowns and root canals. Until now…

Never Change Another Bulb
The Philips Luxeon LEDs in the Dentalumix dental patient light last up to 25 times longer than halogen bulbs which must be replaced every three to six months. LEDs are light emitting diodes which completely eliminate the need for inconvenient and costly halogen bulb changes.

Non-Curing Mode – Work at Your Own Pace
Dentalumix LED Dental lights are available with a convenient non-curing mode option so you can work with restorative materials as long as you like without the light causing them to cure prematurely. The non-cure mode employs two orange LEDs to illuminate the oral field,  eliminating the short spectrum blue wavelengths which cure the resins. You’ll never need to dim your light or move it aside again.

Motion Sensor Touchless Operation
Dentalumix LED Dental Lights are controlled by the sophisticated Sensor controls built into the front of the housing. Simply swipe your hand to turn it off and on, or select from three levels of brightness and non-cure mode. This helps reduce the risk of cross infection by minimizing the number of times you need to touch the light.

Cool Operation
The light beam from the Dentalumix LED Dental light is free of heat, eliminating dentist and patient discomfort, while reducing power usage by 60 to 90%.

Total Patient Comfort
As you see in the photos, the sophisticated custom optics of the Dentalumix LED Dental light ensures a highly uniform illuminated field with no spillover light into the patient’s eyes or related glare.

Brighter Light
Five precisely aligned side-by-side Luxeon LED modules beam together like adjacent headlights to create the rectangular illuminated working area.

Typical halogen dental lights produce only 15,000 to 25,000 lux (lumens per square meter).

With three selectable levels of intensity, these Dentalumix white LEDs produce a remarkable 35,000 lux, or they can be dimmed to 25,000 lux or 15,000 lux.

Precision Light
Beyond simply brightness, the phosphor-converted white LEDs in Dentalumix lights can enable greater visual acuity and perception of detail. Research shows that higher amplitude blue spectrum as in our white LEDs stimulates the retinal ganglion cells of the eye, which are responsible for resolution of detail.

Sleek and Streamlined
The Dentalumix LED 5 is smaller and sleeker than its halogen counterparts because of the small LED form factor and unique optical characteristics that entirely eliminates the need for a bulky reflector.
